My Poem on Waiting
Why have I been waiting months for you to
visit? Did we get married so you could just get
a green card? Did I accurately read in your
email message that you sent me on Father’s
Day that you want a divorce.
My Haikus on Waiting
1.) I was waiting to
find a soulmate to respect,
love, and marry me.
2.) It seemed that waiting
for a long time helped me find
a good boy who cared.
3.) I’m waiting to hear
back from my husband to learn
if he’ll visit soon.
4.) I was waiting and
received an email about
wanting to divorce.
5.) Little did I know that
I’m still waiting for a
soulmate to love me.
