My first review is about An Odd Situation by Sophie Lynbrook. This book was interesting because it was about Mr Darcy being in a coma but able to understand and hear what others said about him or thought about him. I totally loved this unique take on our favorite couple Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy. Interesting that Mr Darcy was able to understand the truth of Caroline Bingley and Louisa Hurst in regards to their true feelings about him and his sister. All the fake caring that those two always showed him because he was Charles’s friend and a member of the highest echelon of the tonnish society. I loved how close Darcy and Lizzy became and how much she helped him when he was unconscious. I loved how he realized the true worth of Mrs Bennet and understood why she acted the way she did.
The second review is about The Forgiving Season by Renata McMann. Amazing book. I was intrigued by the idea of a reformed Wickham. It was very different to read a book where George Wickham was a good guy and received redemption for his past wicked deeds. This book is one of the few books that has the character Mrs Bingley the mother of the three Bingley siblings. After all, we know that everyone has a mother because humans are not just born or made without having parents. Mrs Bingley just took over and thwarted all of Caroline and Louisa’s plots to break up Charles and Jane. Mrs Bingley even managed to shame the great Mr Darcy into becoming humble. Interesting relationship between Mary Bennet and George Wickham. As always I loved and adored the Lizzy and Darcy relationship. Jane and Bingley are amazing together as well. Keep up the great work on all your future endeavors Renata McMann and Summer Hanford! Love your writing as always.
The third review is about Mr Darcy’s Bluestocking Bride by Rose Fairbanks. This was another amazing story by Rose Fairbanks! I totally loved reading this story. It was a very interesting surprise finding out Lady Catherine De Bourgh’s true parentage. I definitely did not see that plot line coming. I was very shocked to even read that. Interesting take on Lady Anne Fitzwilliam Darcy’s past. Elizabeth Bennet was amazing as always. I loved what happened to Wickham and how in this wonderful pride and prejudice variation Lydia doesn’t have to marry him. That was very surprising about Kitty being the one that was completely blind to how George Wickham was. Lydia ended up having a somewhat happy ending because even though she made mistakes someone actually loved her for who she is. Interesting take on having Mr Darcy be an heir to a barony. I grew up loving reading books about regency lords and ladies so this was definitely a wonderful read. I like reading books about women who are strong and ones that love to read so it was great to find a book that had Mr Darcy and Elizabeth starting a club for Bluestockings. Good job on writing such a wonderful story that I finished reading it in one day. Keep up the great work! Good luck on all your future endeavors!
