This is my fifth entry for Fandango’s Word of the Day Challenge. Today’s Word is borrow. Here’s a link to Fandango’s blog https://fivedotoh.com/2019/09/08/fowc-with-fandango-borrow/
Here’s the rules for Fandango’s Challenge:
Welcome to September 8, 2019 and to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt.
I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (US).
Today’s word is “borrow.”
Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.
Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Or you can simply include a link to your post in the comments.

“Worry is the interest paid by those who borrow trouble.”
~ George Washington
“A nation’ s strength ultimately consists in what it can do on its own, and not in what it can borrow from others.”

“Borrow trouble for yourself, if that’s your nature, but don’t lend it to your neighbours.”
~ Rudyard Kipling
“To borrow from the writings of a spider named Charlotte: ‘Silk is terrific!’”

“When I go to a premiere I like to borrow lovely clothes and shoes from designers. It’s like the library: if you return them in good condition, you get to borrow more. I’m very lucky.”
~ Sarah Jessica Parker
Some things that I have borrowed from my friends are books, movies, money, and once when we went to the temple when my parents were still jet-lagged from their trip to India and we didn’t have any homemade yogurt in the house we borrowed some homemade yogurt from one of our family friend’s so my mom could make some for our family. I regularly borrow books that I check out from my public library.
