This is my thirty ninth entry for Fandango’s Friday Flashback. Here’s a link to Fandango’s blog https://fivedotoh.com/2020/05/22/fandangos-friday-flashback-may-22/
I’m going to write about one blog post
This was a post that I wrote on May 22nd, 2014 about a couple of movies that were released on that day. I actually watched four of these movies. All of the other eight movies sounded interesting and I might check them out when I have some time off of work next week. I highly enjoyed watching both Welcome to New York & Blended. Like/Unlike thirty two weeks ago we did have a Bollywood movie that was released on May 22nd, 2014 & unlike last week we had a Telugu Movie that was released on May 23rd, 2014. The Telugu movie Manam is very special because in this one movie three generations of an acting family starred together. It was the last movie that one of my favorite actors did before he passed away. His name was Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Manam was his 245th Movie. He was 89 years old when he passed away and he began acting in 1941. He has had twelve books written on him and his life. Back in 2000 when Atlanta hosted the American Telugu Convention my family and I met him. In one of our photo albums there is a picture of my mom, my aunt, and my dad with ANR Garu.
