My Hindi Down Song

“Asmaan Ke Neeche” from Jewel Thief

Asmaan ke niche
Hum aaj apne pichhe
Pyaar kaa jahaan basa ke chale
Kadam ke nishaan bana ke chale
Asmaan ke niche
Hum aaj apne pichhe
Pyaar kaa jahaan basa ke chale
Kadam ke nishaan bana ke chale

Tum chale to ful jaise
Aanchal ke rang se saj
Gayi raahe saj gayi raahe
Paas aao main pahanaa doo
Chaahat kaa haar ye khuli
Khuli baahe khuli khuli baahe
Jisakaa ho aanchal khud hi chaman
Kahiye wo kyo haar baahon ke daale
Asmaan ke niche hum aaj apne pichhe
Pyaar kaa jahaan basa ke chale
Kadam ke nishaan bana ke chale

Bolati hain aaj aankhe kuchh
Bhi naa aaj tum kahane do
Hum ko kahane do hum ko
Bekhudi badhati chali hai
Ab to khaamosh hi rahane
Do hum ko rahane do hum ko
Yek baar yek baar mere liye kah do
Khanake laal honthhon ke pyaale
Asmaan ke niche hum aaj apne pichhe
Pyaar kaa jahaan basa ke chale
Kadam ke nishaan bana ke chale

Saath mere chalake dekho
Aayi hain dhoom se ab ki
Bahaare ab ki bahaare
Har gali har mod pe wo dono ke
Naam se hum ko pukaare
Tum ko pukaare
Kah do bahaaron se
Aaye idhar un tak
Uthhakar hum nahin jaanewaale
Asmaan ke niche
Hum aaj apne pichhe
Pyaar kaa jahaan basa ke chale
Kadam ke nishaan bana ke chale
Asmaan ke niche
Hum aaj apne pichhe
Pyaar kaa jahaan basa ke chale
Kadam ke nishaan bana ke chale.

My English Sideways Song

“Sideways” by Carlos Santana

You know it ain’t easy
For these thoughts here to leave me
There are no words to describe it
In French or in English
‘Cause diamonds they fade
And flowers they bloom
And I’m telling you
That these feelings won’t go away
They’ve been knockin’ me sideways
They’ve been knockin’ me out lately
Whenever you come around me
These feelings won’t go away
They’ve been knockin’ me sideways
I keep thinking in a moment that
Time will take them away
But these feelings won’t go away
These feelings won’t go away
It ain’t easy
For these thoughts here to leave me
There are no words to describe it
In French or in English
‘Cause diamonds they fade
And flowers they bloom
And I’m telling you
That these feelings won’t go away
They’ve been knockin’ me sideways
They’ve been knockin’ me out lately
Whenever you come around me
These feelings won’t go away
They’ve been knockin’ me sideways
I keep thinking in a moment that
Time will take them away
But these feelings won’t go away
They’ve been knockin’ me sideways
I keep thinking in a moment that
Time will take them away
These feelings won’t go away
These feelings won’t go away
‘Cause diamonds they fade
And flowers they bloom
And I’m telling you
And diamonds they fade
Flowers they bloom
And I’m telling you
These feelings won’t go away
They’ve been knockin’ me sideways
They’ve been knockin’ me out lately
Whenever you come around me
These feelings won’t go away
They’ve been knockin’ me sideways
I keep thinking in a moment that
Time will take them away
But these feelings won’t go away

“Sideways” is a song written by American artist Clarence Greenwood, who is known by the pseudonym Citizen Cope. Although the song has never charted, it has been widely publicized in pop culture. The song is often referred to by a refrain from the song: “These Feelings Won’t Go Away”. The song was included on Santana’s 2002 album Shaman. Greenwood is credited as the writer and producer of this track. A two-line refrain in the song that is repeated is “These feelings won’t go away, They’ve been knockin’ me sideways,” leading to its actual and its commonly mistaken title. This version uses an electric guitar backup behind Citizen Cope’s vocals. Citizen Cope has a version featuring Santana with a music video that is set to scenes from the 2006 Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz film The FountainThen Citizen Cope included it in his 2004 album. It has since been covered by artist such as Sheryl Crow and Corey Taylor.

Jyothi is a 1976 Telugu film directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. It is based on the story of an innocent girl “Jyothi.” All lyrics are written by Aatreya; all music is composed by K. Chakravarthy. Jayasudha won the Nandi Award and Filmfare Award as Best Actress for her performance in the title role. She later credited the film’s success for making her a famous actress in Telugu films. It is a remake of the Hindi film Mili (1975) starring Jaya Bhaduri. Though the storyline is completely different from the original except for the heroine suffering from a deadly disease. This beautiful song was sung by P. Susheela who is one of my favorite singers.
