Welcome to The Daily Four!
Today’s Questions to the Readers are….
What truly motivates you to write?
I have always loved to write. I used to love writing book reports or essays in school when all my friends would freak out because they hated writing essays for school projects. Before blogging I tried my hand at writing fanfics but never had the time to finish writing because life got in the way. I love reading the comments that all the visitors to my blog and all my followers give me.
What’s cluttering up your life today and what are you doing about it?
My emotions are all over the place because my husband emailed me on Father’s Day that he wanted a divorce. I was trying to settle them and then my second mom suddenly passed away. I’m grieving and some days I remember all the dreams that I had for a happy married life with my husband and starting a family. Other days I remember my memories but I’m trying to move on.
Did you enjoy a creative childhood?
Yes, I definitely enjoyed a creative childhood. I have been dancing and singing for most of my life. For pretty much every family wedding, birthday and/or anniversary party I have danced a choreographed dance. For eight years of my life from 5th grade to 12th grade I have been singing in Chorus at school. When I was attending Telugu class at the Hindu Temple of Atlanta I performed in a few plays.
Have you ever wanted to write a book or if you have written a book do you feel accomplished for doing so?
Yes, I have wanted to write a book many times. I personally know many authors because one of my niece’s is an author as was the mother of my Telugu class teacher. The first ever marriage counselor that I went to when I was trying to work out my marriage is an author. Especially now I hope that I can write about my story so that in the future other NRI women don’t get betrayed by their Indian husbands.
